For this week’s “Local Song Of The Week,” we head to Lancaster to spotlight Medusa’s Disco, and a song you probably have heard during the past couple of years if you’re a regular “Homegrown Rocker” listener. “Painters Painting Paintings” is from Medusa’s Disco’s latest album from 2019, “Orphic Grimoire.” With their adventurous, high-powered brand of psychedelic-flavored rock, Medusa’s Disco has performed throughout Pennsylvania and the East Coast festival scene, including stints on the Warped Tour and in Bethlehem’s annual Musikfest, and “Orphic Grimoire” won the “Album/EP of the Year” award at the 2020 Central Pennsylvania Music Awards (CPMA’s) in Harrisburg.
