Homegrown Rocker Playlist/Recap 12/12/21

Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the December 12 edition of “The Homegrown Rocker,” which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on Q94 Classic Rock!

We welcomed our final musical guests of 2021 into the studio for this week’s program, as the three members of Neon Hotel paid us a visit! We learned about the band and its history, discussed the group’s music, and heard a couple of recorded original tunes from them! Along the way, we debuted new songs from Alec Henderson, Anti-Corn League, Dilemma and Prime 8, plus a new Christmas number from Shea Quinn. We also updated “Local Music News,” dug into the archive for a 1995 tune by ǝ (schwa) for a “Local Music Flashback,” and stepped “Across State Lines” to hear a tune by Akron, Ohio’s Northern Weather (For those who missed the program, a four-part podcast of this show is available for listening or download from Q94’s website, www.q94classicrock.com. Click on “The Professor’s Classroom,” and then scroll down to “Homegrown Rocker Podcast” and look for the four show segments marked with the date, 121221.)
