Dallas Frazier had written or co-written hits for Charley Pride (“All I Have To Offer You (Is Me)” “Then Who Am I”), Tanya Tucker (“What’s Your Mama’s Name”), Emmylou Harris (“Beneath Still Waters”), Gene Watson (“Fourteen Carat Mind”), even the Hollywood Argyles’ “Alley Oop” – but he’ll always be remembered for the Oak Ridge Boys’ “Elvira.” Dallas Frazier suffered a major stroke last year.
