A ONE VEHICLE CRASH IN BEDFORD COUNTY YESTERDAY CLAIMED THE LIFE OF THE DRIVER.
POLICE REPORTS INDICATE THAT 61 YEAR OLD WILLIAM BOSTIC OF BEDFORD WAS DRIVING ALONG HARTLEY ROAD IN SNAKE SPRING TWP SHORTLY BEFORE 4 AM SUNDAY, WHEN HE LOST CONTROL OF HIS VEHICLE, WENT OFF OF THE ROAD AND CRAHED INTO A TREE. THE CAR THEN SPUN BACK OUT ONTO THE ROAD AFTER HITTiNG THE TREE. ACCORDING TO AUTHORITIES, BOSTIC WAS THROWN FROM THE VEHICLE AND WAS PRONOUNCED DEAD AT THE SCENE. POLICE DID SAY THAT BOSTIC WAS NOT WEARING HIS SEATBELT AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT. NO FURTHER DETAILS WERE RELEASED. THE INVESTIGATION WILL CONTINUE.
