A CAMBRIA COUNTY MAN IS FACING CHARGES IN BLAIR COUNTY AFTER HIS ARREST.
IN A REPORT BY WTAJ, IT STATES THAT ALTOONA POLICE ARRESTED 21 YEAR OLD DELANO BROWN OF JOHNSTOWN AFTER THEY WERE SUMMONED TO AN APARTMENT BUILDING ON SOUTH 27th STREET. THE REPORT INDICATES THAT POLICE FOUND BROWN HIDING UNDER A BLANKET AFTER AN UPSTAIRS NEIGHBOR REPORTED FINDING A BULLET HOLE AND A BULLET UNDERNEATH A THROW RUG. POLICE ALSO REPORTED THAT BROWN WAS FACING CHARGES FROM A 2020 INCIDENT WHERE POLICE FOUND CASH AND DRUGS. BROWN IS ALSO ACCUSED OF POSSESSING SOME $11,000 WORTH OF HEROIN IN 2021. HE IS CHARGED THIS TIME WITH POSSESSION OF AN ILLEGAL FIREARM, FLIGHT TO AVOID CAPTURE, GIVING POLICE FALSE INFORMATION, DRUG POSSESSION AND MORE. A HEARING IS SCHEDULED FOR WEDNESDAY.
