A REPORT BY THE ASSOCIATED PRESS SUGGESTS THAT THE HIGH COURT IS WRANGLING OVER DIFFERENT MAPS, AND THE JUSTICES HEARD ARGUMENTS FROM AT LEAST A DOZEN ATTORNEYS LAST FRIDAY, EACH PLEADING THEIR CASE FOR THEIR MAPS. THE JUSTICES SAID THAT THEY ARE IN FAVOR OF CHOOSING A NON PARTISAN MAP THAT WILL REPRESENT THE CITIZENS OF PENNSYLVANIA FAIRLY, BUT DID NOT EMBRACE A MAP THAT WAS ENDORSED BY THE LOWER COMMONWEALTH COURT BENCH SEVERAL WEEKS AGO. THAT PARTICULAR MAP WAS ALSO ENDORSED BY STATE REPUBLICANS. THE SUPREME COURT MUST DECIDE THE MATTER, BECAUSE THE LEGISLATURE AND GOV WOLF FAILED TO COME UP WITH A COMPROMISE MAP. THE MAP MUST BE REDRAWN BECAUSE PA WILL LOSE ONE SEAT IN CONGRESS FOLLOWING THE 2020 CENSUS COUNT.
