A liquor enforcement officer has been charged with child rape after accusations he sexually assaulted two girls. According to multiple criminal complaints, Scott Berdine, faces multiple felonies. State police say Berdine has been employed with the PSP as an Enforcement Officer 3 within the Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement since September 2008. He’s assigned to the Punxsutawney District Enforcement Office. Troopers say they received three child welfare reports in Aug. from Cambria County Children and Youth Services alleging that Berdine had committed sexual offenses against minors. Berdine is being lodged in the Cambria County Prison after he couldn’t post bail.
