THE REPORT SAYS THAT THE DISTRICT HAD TO SEND A LETTER OF THE ATTACKS TO FACULTY AND STAFF MEMBERS. MEASURES WERE TAKEN IMMEDIATELY TO TRY AND STOP THE ATTACKS, AND TO TRY AND PRESERVE THE PERSONAL INFORMATION OF STAFF MEMBERS. THE DISTRICT WAS TOLD THAT SOME INFORMATION ABOUT EMPLOYEES HAD ALREADY BEEN SENT TO THE DARK WEB. THE MIRROR REPORTED IN THE STORY THAT IT RECEIVED SEVERAL PHONE CALLS CLAIMING THAT THE DISTRICT WAS ATTACKED. PARENTS WERE ALSO INFORMED ABOUT THE ATTACKS. THE REPORTS DID NOT SAY HOW DEEP THE ATTACKS WENT, OR HOW MANY POTENTIAL VICTIMS THERE ARE. THE DISTRICT IS WORKING HARD TO RESTORE CYBER SECURITY.
