Murder Conviction Appeal Denied

The Altoona Mirror Reports That The Pennsylvania Superior Court Has Denied The Request To Overturn The Murder Conviction Of Kim McMullen. McMullen Was Charged And Convicted Of Killing Dominic Barcelona Back In 1985 After Barcelona Apparently Witnessed McMullen Committing A Burglary. The Police Report Stated That Barcelona Saw McMullen Exiting The Grocery Box Store After He Robbed It. Police Also Said That McMullen Threw Barcelona Off A Bridge And He Drowned. He Claims Double Jeopardy Applies Since He Was Convicted Once, But That Was Vacated, And He Should Not Have Been Tried A Second Time. The High Court Disagreed.
