Locally, The Penn State Altoona Administration Met To Discuss How It Is Going To Shave Some $4.7 Million From Its Annual Budget. The Report Stated That This Could Cause Hundreds Of Permanent Job Losses, That Will Be Outside Of The Science, Technology, Engineering And Math Dept. All Branch Campuses Are Being Told To Find Ways To Cut Their Budgets Effectively Without Causing Too Much Strain On Individual Departments, And Not To Cause A Decrease In The Quality Of Education That Penn State Provides.
