There is a proposal on the table to build a second O’Reilly Auto Parts store in Altoona. The company currently has a location along Pleasant Valley Blvd. The second store is targeted to be constructed on a parcel of land adjacent to the Martins Grocery store plaza located on Chestnut Avenue and 1st street. The new store will be 7135 sq. feet in size and will include driveways from two directions which will connect with 1st street and to a driveway inside the plaza. A pedestrian crosswalk is also planned.
