The Blair County Planning Commission has given a preliminary green light to plans for a new wholesale distribution plant for Antis Twp. The plant would provide products for tobacco stores, convenience stores and distributors in the county. That plant is targeted for the I-99 Enterprise Campus Business Park. The commission also gave a good review for a second new store slated for the Claysburg area. A new Family Dollar store is now planned to go into the former C&S Family markets building. A 2500 sq. foot expansion is planned, along with upgraded parking facilities.
