A report from WJAC indicates that the pilot radioed for help when he discovered his aircraft was in trouble just across the border with Maryland. 62 year old Robert Greensburg was flying the plane when he told dispatchers he got into some bad weather at around 11,000 feet. Greensberg said that he thought the plane iced up quickly, causing him to lose control. He crashed the plane in a wooded area of Grantsville, Md around 8 pm Saturday. Greensberg and two female passengers wee all taken to UPMC Western Maryland for treatment. Federal and state authorities are investigating.
