A report in the Altoona Mirror tells of such a dilemma. A Windber man is up on charges that he took cash that he allegedly found but did not turn into authorities. Cambria County D.A. Greg Neugebauer reported that police arrested 27 year old Alex Wanders after it was reported that an 83 year old woman lost a bag that contained $20,000 cash in Richland Twp last Thursday. It was then reported that Wanders can be seen on video stepping on the bag, picking it up and going directly to his car and taking off from the scene. He was later identified and arrested, charged with theft of lost property and receiving stolen property. He is locked up in the Cambria County jail on $75,000 bond.
