A news report indicates that police have arrested 48 year old Michelle Brown of Mt.Union for stealing cash from Weis Markets. The report indicates that Brown allegedly had been stealing cash for a period of two months from February 20-April 22. Police say that brown is accused of stealing at least $6700 while working as a bookkeeper. An asset protection manager discovered the missing cash during an investigation. Brown was also reportedly caught on store surviellence taking money from self checkout registers. She told police she took the money to pay her bills. She is charged with theft.
