Today, we can tell you that Central High School grad Daniele Maurer is a Jeopardy champion. The show aired on Friday night, and Maurer was watching with family and friends via zoom. She said that because of contract language, she could not tell anyone the outcome of her appearance. Maurer ended up winning $15,600 after she defeated 23 day champion Mattea Roach on the popular game show. Maurer will now compete on jeopardy as its new champion in the coming days. The Duncansville native says she has fulfilled a life long dream of competing on Jeopardy, and now get the chance to start a winning streak of her own.
