The Associated Press reports that the race between Dr. Mehmet Oz and Dave McCormick is still neck and neck, and will likely come down to a recount. Mail in ballots continue to be counted, which has made the numbers fluxuate over the past 3 days. Dr. Oz still lead McCormick by some 1122 votes, but not all mail in ballots have been counted. The Pa Dept of State reported that there are approximately 8700 ballots in the republican primary that still have to be counted. A vote that separates the candidates by half of a percentage point or less will trigger an automatic recount. The winner will face off with John Fetterman in November for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Pat Toomey.
