A State Police (and WTAJ) report says that charges have been brought against 58 year old David K. Myers of Gallitzin for causing the death of 21 year old Sierra Farabaugh last June. The report indicated that Myers was driving his Harley Davidson bike on Columbia Street in Allegheny Twp. when he did not make a curve in the road, hit a patch of grass and crashed into a ditch. Myers and Farabaugh were thrown from the bike, which landed on top of Farabaugh, pinning her underneath. She died at the scene of asphyxiation. According to the report, Myers was leaning on the bike, and a bottle of alcohol was discovered when first responders arrived. Myers is charged with Involuntary Manslaughter and DUI.
