In a report by WJAC, State representative Aaron Bernstine has introduced a bill that would force Penn State university to disclose the location of the Joe Paterno statue that was removed from beaver stadium after the Jerry Sandusky scandal. The statue was taken down after school officials fired Paterno and determined that he was complicit in not handling the Sandusky sex abuse scandal properly. Rep. Bernstine is calling on the the university to disclose the location of the statue, allegedly tying it to the bill that could affect state funding the school receives. So far, there is no word on where the statue is located, and if the bill has any other support in Harrisburg. Bernstine is a 2006 PSU grad.
