In a report by the National Desk. Exxon CEO Darren Woods says that the presidents efforts to rid the nation of the oil and gas industry is forcing his company into decisions that they aren’t sure can work. The President is pressuring the oil companies for more production, while at the same time killing drilling permits and the Keystone XL pipeline, sharply cutting drilling efforts and importing oil from Canada. Biden says the oil companies should put out more product, but those companies fired back, claiming that the cuts and stoppages of drilling and permit work, have cut their ability to produce more gasoline. Woods says that consumers will bear the brunt of these hastily made decisions by Biden, who blames the oil giants and Vladimir Putin for the rise in gas prices.
