According to state police and television news accounts, troopers are investigating a crash that occurred yesterday morning in Boggs Twp. along Rt. 153 just before 10 am. The only details released so far have been that there were two vehicles involved, and two women were killed in the accident. A third person was flown to upmc Altoona. County coroner Kim Shaffer Snyder pronounced the two women dead at the scene. The roadway was closed to traffic for approximately 2 hours. State police continue to investigate and will release more informtion when it becomes available.
