According to reports, 54 year old John Wineland had allegedly threatened the lives of three people ls Thursday afternoon. Accounts of the incidents state that Wineland had gotten into a verbal altercation with the 3 potential victims, and that he said he would kill them all. One of the victims told police he got into a one on one with Wineland, and cut his hand with a knife. The victims managed to get out of the riddle avenue residence when Wineland stepped outside and threatened to kill them a second time. Wineland is a felon and is not permitted to carry guns. He is charged with felony aggravated assault, assault with a deadly weapon, illegal possession of a firearm, reckless endangerment, making terroristic threats and simple assault. Wineland is in the Blair County jail on $300,000 bail.
