Police report that 29 year old Matthew Morrison who was captured after the robbery at FeFis’ store on 2nd avenue, gave important details that led up to the robbery. Morrison said he and suspect John Allen Jukes both cased the store on Sunday, but left because there were too many customers inside. Both men reportedly returned Monday morning to find just one store employee working, and that is when Jukes allegedly robbed the employee at knife point. He reportedly got away with $3680. Morrison told police Jukes gave him a lockbox that supposedly contained the stolen cash. Morrison is charged with receiving stolen property, conspiracy to commit robbery and theft. Jukes is still on the loose and Altoona Police are searching for him.
