WJAC ran a report that the health system that serves Central and Northern Pennsylvania reported the initial case which was confirmed by both the CDC and the State Department of Health. Geisinger assured patients and their families that all precautions are being taken to prevent any spread of the the infection, and that they were ready for action. Geisinger health confirmed the case, but did not report where it was actually diagnosed.
