Television news reports indicate that the wife of Jeff Thomas has now been charged with perjury. Amy Thomas is facing that charge after another turn in the story of her husbands alleged assault of her back in the spring. Amy Thomas testified that her husband did not assault her, but texts and photos appear to offer evidence to the contrary. She is alleged to have called her sister during the alleged assault, but denied that in court. She also was caught allegedly lying about not reporting the assault to law enforcement, because of a 911 call she apparently made. Jeff Thomas is facing several trials, one of which begins in September for the alleged rape of a Windber woman last year. Meanwhile, Amy Thomas is free on $25,000 unsecured bail
