The police information report suggests that troopers will be out sometime in the coming weeks conducting a sobriety checkpoint. Details of when and where the checkpoint will be conducted will not be released, but drivers should know that they will be stopped, and police will be checking for impaired drivers using drugs and or alcohol and for other driving violations. Then first Penn State home football game will take place in early September. DUI will be the primary target of the checkpoint, but all laws will be enforced.
