According to a report by WTAJ, police arrested 34 year old Christopher Balmer of Altoona on charges he helped three juveniles break into a concession stand at canoe creek state park. Balmer is charged with breaking into the stand august 12th, after the owner reported to police that the stand was broken into. Taken was $400 cash, $100 worth of food and two power drills. Balmer allegedly called state police and informed them he was at the park on the date in question, which led to the investigation and arrests. Balmer is charged with felony burglary, theft, receiving stolen property and corruption of minors. There was no report of charges against the juveniles, although the crime was captured on video cameras.
