State police in Huntingdon report that they tried to pull over the driver of a car on Friday night along Rt. 22 for several traffic violations. The driver refused to pull over, and began a high speed chase. Police chased the driver to Hartslog Valley road for several miles before the teenager left the roadway and crashed into an embankment and two trees. The teen was thrown from the vehicle and was rushed to UPMC Altoona by chopper, but died from injuries sustained. Troopers say the driver was not wearing a seatbelt.
