Television and police reports indicate that several people were involved in a daylight shooting incident on broad street at 3:00 yesterday afternoon. A man in his 20’s was gunned down and killed during the shooting. A second victim was rushed to a hospital in critical condition. After the shooting, witnesses and police say that a car sped from the scene and was involved in a crash about 1.5 miles from the shooting on napoleon street at Dilbert street. Reports say that the second victim died from injuries suffered during the shooting. Cambria County D.A. Greg Neugebauer told reporters that the violence in Johnstown must end, and it is time for the community to stand up. Police said after the shooting and crash that this looks like the victims were the targets of the suspects, who are still on the loose.
