WJAC reported that 58 year old David Myers of Gallitzin was sentenced in court yesterday to serve 9-24 months for taking the life of 21 year old Sierra Farabaugh after crashing his motorcycle. Farabaugh was the passenger on Myers’ bike, when he crashed on Columbia Street in Allegheny Twp, in June 2021. Farabaugh was pinned underneath the bike and was killed. Myers will serve 4 1/2 months in jail, to be followed by 4 1/2 months of house arrest. Myers will also serve 24 months of probation and be required to test for alcohol consumption for 6 months, with a remote alcohol monitoring device.
