Earlier this week we reported that Comcast is likely to enter into negotiations with the City of Altoona on a possible franchise for the city. Now the Altoona Mirror reports that Logan Twp. officials are also behind the idea of Comcast possibly setting up shop. The supervisors voted yesterday to allow their attorneys to enter into the negotiations and the filing of all necessary permits in case the franchise agreement is reached. Comcast says it wants to provide service for Allegheny and Blair Twp, Hollidaysburg and Duncansville. Nothing can be done until a franchise agreement has been worked out and voted upon
