Teen plead out in Westmont plot

WJAC reported that Logan Pringle entered a plea of no contest yesterday to charges he and Preston Hinebaugh were planning a mass shooting at Westmont Hilltop High School. The two were arrested last winter, after an unidentified person notified the school about reported plans to carry out the shooting. Pringle pleaded out to charges of criminal conspiracy and making terroristic threats. Pringle is looking at 6 years in prison, followed by 10 years of supervised probation. He is scheduled to be sentenced on October 3rd. Hinebaugh is still awaiting a preliminary hearing on the same charges.
