Opponents to the ruling came out immediately against the ruling, saying that this would give police carte blanche to pull drivers over for trivial license plate issues, and it would be an avenue for racial bias and potential abuse by officers. According to the report, you can now be pulled over if your VisitPa.com message on your plate is covered by a license plate frame. The ruling also says that you can be pulled over if officers deem your plate’s letters and numbers are unreadable from a reasonable distance.
