Television news reports say that the Beta Alpha chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha has been suspended through the fall of 2025. School officials say that the frat was suspended after an investigation determined that there were repeated violations of the university’s policy concerning fraternity activities for an extended period of time. As a result of the suspension, the fraternity cannot participate in any school functions such as homecoming and Thon. Members of the suspended fraternity declined to take part in the hearing. The chapter told reporters that it will continue to operate without university recognition.
