A report by WTAJ indicates police arrested 25 year old Ashley Aurandt of Hollidaysburg for causing a disturbance last week. The report claims that Aurandt was treated at UPMC Altoona, and apparently left a knife inside the facility. When she went back to retrieve the knife, she was confronted by officers. She began yelling at them, using racial slurs, calling them corrupt and threatened to sue. Aurandt then resisted arrest when she was told to put out a cigarette on hospital property. She was apparently upset at the results of the visit to the hospital. She is charged with resisting arrest, aggravated assault, simple assault, disorderly conduct, harassment and smoking in a prohibited area.
