A report by the Associated Press via the Altoona Mirror indicates that the two top officials are looking into granting pardons to all prisoners now serving time or have served time for non violent low level marijuana criminal convictions. And republicans came out blasting the news, saying that Fetterman and Wolf are doing nothing more than caving in to their political base. Those who could be eligible for the pardons, will have to fill out an applications that is free of charge. A spokesperson for the republican caucus says this is nothing more than a get out of jail free card for thousands of Pennsylvanians. With the news, gov wolf again urged the republicans in Harrisburg to legalize recreational marijuana use for adults.
