Television news reports indicate that 20 year old Jacob Tillman reportedly admitted to police that he committed the assault, but had no memory of it occurring. The attack took place back in April of this year after a night of drinking at the lion’s den in downtown state college. The victim told police that she offered Tillman a place to stay because he was too intoxicated to walk to his residence across campus. The woman told police she awoke to find Tillman ripping off her clothes and raping her. Tillman is charged with rape, sexual assault and aggravated indecent assault. Tillman is free on bond pending a hearing next week.
