Television news reports indicate that the school has put forth a proposal to get permission to sell beer at beaver stadium. Right now, only stadium clubs and suites can get beer at games, now Penn State Intercollegiate athletics wants to sell beer to the general public. A survey conducted last year indicated that fans want to be able to purchase beer at the stadium. If given a green light, fans 21 and over would have to show proof of age and be given a wristband to purchase beer. Vendors would then have to complete the LCB’s Responsible Alcohol Management Program.
