A report by WTAJ indicates police arrested 45 year old Tomas Gonzalez Benitez of California for allegedly stealing credit cards from folks at a Penn State golf course. The report indicates that Benitez was allegedly going around to cars parked at the golf course and stealing credit cards from those vehicles while he was wearing gold attire. Penn state police say that Benitez and another man were caught on video at a Walmart using the stolen credit cards to the tune of $2553 worth of apple gift cards and other merchandise. Benitez was caught in Illinois last month, and that is how Penn State police found him. He is also facing charges in both union and berks counties.
