News reports indicate the fire broke out at the Union Tank Car Company located along chestnut avenue yesterday afternoon. Firefighters were able to get to the scene very quickly and put out the flames. The report states that a rail car that was being taken apart caught fire, which apparently produced heavy smoke. The flames were put out in a short period of time. Chestnut avenue had to be shut down because fire hoses had to be stretched across the busy roadway. No injuries were reported
