According to a WTAJ report, authorities are investigating the death of 43 year old Marcus McCreary, who was found dead in his cell earlier this month. Authorities say that McCreary had a history of medical issues and drug abuse. Blair County Coroner Patty Ross listed a preliminary cause of death as being heart related, but is awaiting autopsy results, and results of an investigation by the Hollidaysburg Borough police dept before announcing a cause of death. Ross said that McCreary had been treated at UPMC Altoona before he was arrested by Altoona Police.
