According to Bedford State Police, the accident occurred along route 30 on Lincoln Highway in West Providence Twp around 10:30 Monday night. Police say that 37 year old Ranae Banks of Pittsburgh was trying to cross the highway, and was struck by a tire from a tractor trailer. After she was hit, banks was struck by two more oncoming vehicles. First responders pronounced her dead at the scene from numerous injuries. Occupants of the other vehicles involved were not injured. Police are investigating. Everett volunteer fire, along with Raystown EMS assisted the Bedford County coroner at the scene.
