News reports say that Brandon Fink has filed suit against Wisconsin State Senator Janet Bewley, another driver driver and insurance companies for the July crash that killed his 5 year old daughter, and the girls mother. Police say that Sen. Bewley pulled out in front of a car driven by Alyssa Ortman at a Lake Superior beach entrance and crashed into Ortman’s car. Khaleesi Fink died at the scene, and Ortman died later at a hospital. Police reported that Bewley was apparently distracted by her hands free phone in her car at the time of the accident. So far, no charges have been filed in this case.
