A report from Harrisburg thru WJAC indicates that senate candidate John Fetterman is criticizing the closed caption system that was used for his benefit Tuesday night in the debate with Dr. Mehmet Oz. Fetterman claims that the system was filled with errors, a claim that was quickly rebuffed by Nexstar communications chief Gary Weitman. Fetterman’s communication director said that his candidate did well despite the errors with the closed captioning system. Weitman said that the system worked just fine, and that there was an opportunity for both candidates to have 2 complete rehearsals before the debate. Fetterman reportedly only showed up for one. Nexstar went on to say that Fetterman did not take advantage off all the opportunities that were made available to him.
