A report by WTAJ indicates that authorities have arrested and charged 50 year old Darin Bressler of Spring Mills for allegedly stealing more than $25,000 from the Gregg Twp volunteer fire company between March 2019 and November 2020. Yesterday we reported that an audit of the company showed the financial discrepancy, and the auditor general was not sure where the money went. Now a new report suggests that Bressler was allegedly behind the thefts. The report states that he made 18 withdrawls from the fire company savings account to use for his personal bills. He did not help in the audit process according to the report. Bressler is charged with two counts of felony theft.
