A Johnstown man who was convicted earlier this year of stabbing and killing a woman during a Facebook Marketplace sale was sentenced today to serve life in prison. Joshua Gorgone was convicted in September in the death of 54-year-old Denise Williams last April inside his apartment. Prosecutors argued that Gorgone stabbed Williams dozens of times following an argument over the price of a refrigerator that she was attempting to purchase from him. Gorgone was convicted of all the charges he faced, including criminal homicide, robbery/theft, abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.
