Yesterday we reported that Logan Twp and Penn State Police were investigating a threat made against the school on Yik Yak social media outlet. Now police have released the name of the alleged sender of the message. He is 19 year old Juan Nakimora of Illinois. Police say the message told students “if you want to live, don’t come to school on Monday”. Some students told police they were fearful for their lives and would not attend class Monday. Nakimora was living off campus and was tracked down there using cellphone location and information from Yik Yak. Police say there is no threat to PSU Altoona or the public. Nakimora is in the Blair County jail on $35,000 bail.
