Shapiro along with his running mate Austin Davis, stopped at the Carpenters Regional Training Center in yesterday afternoon. Shapiro reportedly talked to the gathering about jobs, voting rights, safer communities and education, but nothing apparently was said about the poor economic conditions plaguing the state. One voter told the Altoona Mirror that she is voting for Shapiro because he does not spread hate like his opponent. Another said that Shapiro has done a great deal for PA, and has helped its residents. Both Shapiro and Davis said they are support working class families. Davis told the crowd that they are running against the most dangerous republican ticket in the country.
