News reports indicate that police began chasing 35 year old Krysten Pretlor of Johnstown from his home around 2 pm yesterday. The reports say that Pretlor then led numerous police depts on a high speed chase onto route 22. Pretlor apparently was live streaming the dramatic chase on his phone in real time. Once his car was stopped in Derry Twp, police say that Pretlor refused police commands and was shot by officers . State police are investigating. No information was released concerning what caused the high speed chase to begin, or if Pretlor was wanted for any reason.
