Police say that at least 3 of 7 adults charged with kidnapping and killing 19 year old Hayden Garraffa actively took part in his assault and eventual murder. The report says that Issac Buchkoski struck an stomped Garreffa before he was allegedly stabbed by Taylyn Edwards and Summer Settlemyer numerous times. The other 4 adult suspects admitted to being at the crime scene, but they say they did not take part in the killing. Police also report that Buchkoski and Settlemyer said the kidnapping was the result of a prior incident and they had ill will toward Garreffa.
